Caring for your Worn Again merchandise

Your Worn Again trainers will love you if you love them. We’ve worked very hard to keep nasty chemicals out of the production process, but if you really want to get extra wear we recommend you treat the uppers of your shoes with a waterproofing product, leather conditioner, stain guard or general leather protector.

To Clean

Leather, Canvas and Nylon Mesh
Use a soft soap product and a soft bristled brush to scrub off surface dirt. Leather, canvas and nylon mesh can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat. And do not tumble dry. Leather can also be polished and conditioned with a leather lotion applied with a soft cloth. (Note: white mesh is difficult to restore to a “brand new” look).

Soles
To clean the rubber sidewalls, scrub off surface dirt, as above. Sidewalls can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water or take them swimming. Dry away from direct heat.

Recycle

All shoes, including Worn Again, are 100% recyclable. If you’ve come to the end of the road with your Worn Agains, please donate them to your local charity shop, or find out your nearest European Recycling Company (ERC) drop off point. They take all footwear, in any condition. The aim of ERC and of Worn Again is to prevent shoes ending up in rubbish dumps or being incinerated when there is still useful life in them.
